John
Cleverdon's web pages
This site has information on Australian diesel
and electric locomotives, including tech specs, builders numbers, a
fleetlist, and a downloadable database.
This site is a secondary information site for the Mornington Peninsula
Astronomical Society, on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula and
southeastern
suburbs. The official site for MPAS is
here.
This site has a railway map of Victoria in both GIF and PDF formats.
This site has some miscellaneous railway photos of mine, being of
Victorian tourist railways and historical photos.
This site has photos and videos from Gateway 4WD trips, as well as
map-related
links.
The only page above that will get updated regularly nowadays is the
"Gateway 4WD" site.
My main interests are mapping, railways, astronomy, 4WD'ing, and
travelling around Victoria and Australia.
I enjoy the outdoors, with plenty of walking to keep fit, and am a
reasonable cook.
I'm a 'Straight WASP Male' and politically
incorrect.
I have always been a bachelor - this is because
there are no 'single ladies my age' out there, and because no women
have ever shown interest in me (I've got nothing going for me).
My professional background is
cartography; I have a Bachelor of
Applied Science degree in Cartography from the
Department of Geospatial Science
at RMIT University.
I work as a survey draftsman at
Watsons, an urban design
company on the Mornington Peninsula.
My professional membership is as an Associate Member of the Mapping Sciences Institute,
Australia; and a Member of the Surveying and Spatial
Sciences Institute.
